Kava Africa Agency Operations Manager Job in Kenya


We are in the Financial Management space providing innovative financial products & solutions.

We are looking to fill in the position of Agency Operations Manager.

Scope: Agency Administration; Reconciliations; Team Management

Key Responsibilities:

Agency Administration

  • Identify and acquire new locations for the agency shops
  • Manage relationships with the landlords
  • Ensure the agency shops are open at the expected time
  • Ensure the outlets have functional equipment and no float issues
  • Ensure efficient use of outlet resources


  • Oversee the daily reconciliations
  • Together with finance perform the necessary agency financial transactions
  • Oversee the periodic cash count process

Team Management

  • Agency team recruitment in collaboration with the HR
  • Approve and manage the team’s daily performance
  • Ensure adequate staffing at the outlets.


  • Degree in Business Administration or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Operations.


  • Proficient communicator at all levels.
  • A good listener, able to respond to results
  • Ability to manage different projects at the same time
  • Demonstrate creativity & initiative and require minimal supervision.
  • Possess top-level interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
