Job Vacancy: Banqueting Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

Managing events

1. Conduct pre-event meetings with Banqueting staff to delegate work

2. Maintain communication with clients and the on-site team to ensure service is as expected

3. Respond to clients grievances while on-site and off-site

4. Collect and share feedback from events based on direct questions to the client and guest

5. Supervise service operations and the service crew to ensure operating procedures are followed

6. Inspect and ensure buffet and table setting is neat and clean

7. Supervise post event clean up and garbage removal

Managerial Duties

1. Oversee all Banqueting activities and schedule work plans

2. Ensure implementation of Banqueting staff training and measure its impact

3. Conduct regular Banqueting staff meetings to build rapport and motivate

4. Conduct an evaluation of Banqueting staff performance and provide feedback to HR

5. Conduct regular meetings with Client Service Manager and C.E.O to follow up on client satisfaction and service trends

6. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the Banqueting department
