Vocational & Technical Trainer (Mechanical Engineering) at Trident Vocational Training Centre

Trident Vocational Training Centre (TVTC) is promoted by Trident Plumbers Ltd, a leading Mechanical, Plumbing, Drainage and HVAC Contracting company with 31 years of operation.

TVTC offers short term, midterm and long term courses in plumbing, drainage and mechanical works. The course syllabus is primarily based on National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) which is prescribed for stage levels grading is looking to find a competent and self-driven individual to fill the position of Trainer.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail: –

  • Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
  • Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work
  • Setting and marking examination/assignments
  • Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer
  • Supervising trainers’ projects and practical work.

Qualifications

The Trainer must have: –

  • Higher National Diploma in any of the following specializations; Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
  • Be registered by a relevant professional body
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Possess good presentation skills
  • Experience of 5 years training in plumbing desirable.
