We are a Mombasa town based company looking for a DYNAMIC and ENTHUSIASTIC person to fill this position.
Key skills we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- MIN. 3-5 year accounting experience in an industry
- Accounting Profession – working towards CPA completion
- Maintenance of the Pastel Computer package account
- Entering sales invoices for customers and recording payments
- Reception of suppliers’ invoices & recording in books
- Reconcile bank and cash accounts
- Preparation and filing of taxes (including but not limited to VAT, PAYE, Social Contributions)
- Preparation of documentation as required
- Filing of documents
- Must know how to use MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
- Good teamwork
- Able to handle pressure
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Any other duties as may be prescribed from time to time
- Email correspondence in a professional manner
