FMCG Manufacturer HR Manager Job in Kenya

Our client, a manufacturing company producing FMCG products, is seeking to hire a Human Resource (HR) Manager with strong background in finance and accounts.


  • Responsible for HR and Admin Department
  • Oversee human resources activities; including supervision of the HR officer
  • Review and make recommendations on the human resource needs of the finance and administration department
  • Review, update and ensure compliance with all the policies, procedures and emerging best practices that are in compliance with generally accepted accounting policies
  • Complete project budgets and projections, change orders, and turnkey cost additions as require
  • Analyzing tenders financial viability before submission
  • Management reporting using SAP Business One thus ensuring data is up to date
  • Oversee the general accounting function that includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial analysis and reporting and balance sheet
  • Assist in budget preparation and management activities and ensure all expenses are within assigned budgets
  • Provide financial forecasting and advice on viable profits and expenditures per project
  • Prepare financial reports – both internal and external; including presentation of the same to the relevant recipients /
  • Oversee recording of financial transactions; including income, expenditure, assets, liabilities and
  • Ensure physical filing of accounting documents is orderly, logical and easily referenced to accounting
  • Oversight and development of an excellent and high performing finance and admin team including supervision of the
  • Train staff members in financial systems, policies, procedures, systems and emerging best
  • Facilitate internal audit missions and ensure audit follow up and action lists are addressed in a timely manner, ensure that the organization learns from audits and reviews so as to continuously improve its
  • Report timely and consistently all losses and incidents, including updates, to the Managing Director


  • BSC in Finance/Accounting
  • Must have good analytical skills
  • IHRM Member
  • Must have experience working in manufacturing sector
  • At least 3 years’ work experience in senior level as a HR & finance and administration Manager
  • Strong accounting background with ability to prepare budgets, cash flow projections.
  • Good knowledge in HR Management and knowledge of Kenyan Labor Laws
