Principal Corporate Communications Officer Job in Kenya – Financial Reporting Centre (FRC)

The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) is a government agency created by the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act (POCAMLA) 2009, with the principal objective of identifying the proceeds of crime, combating money laundering, and fighting the financing of terrorism.

In order to enhance institutional capacity to deliver on its mandate, FRC is seeking to recruit qualified and competent personnel to fill the folowing position:

The Principal Corporate Communications Officer will report to the Manager, Corporate Communications.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:-

i. Developing and reviewing the Communication Strategy and Policy;

ii. Organizing corporate events;

iii. Developing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials;

iv. Managing media relations;

v. Coordinating audience research;

vi. Liaising with departments to generate content material for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders;

vii. Promoting a positive corporate image; and

viii. Coordinating the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs.

Person Specifications

i. At least four (4) years’ work experience in corporate communications or public relations;

ii. Bachelors’ degree in Public Relations, Communications or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

iii. Masters’ degree in Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is an added advantage;

iv. Supervisory course lasting at least two (2) weeks from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;

v. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and

vi. Must be a citizen of Kenya.
