Our client, a restaurant based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a competent sales representative who will create & manage their outside catering business as they embark on their growth strategy.
The person will be responsible for generating sales and will be accountable for achieving quota by hunting new customers and growing existing relationships.
The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization.
- Onboard corporate customers for breakfast and lunch
- Follow up on payment for orders serviced
- Order follow up from corporate customers
- Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
- Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
- Supports and implements marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
- Secures long term relationship by negotiating with clients
- Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
- Maintain list of target accounts by generates and qualifying new business leads
- Conducts competitive intelligence
- Other duties as assigned
- Achieve daily sales target for corporate customers
- 100% collection of payment from the corporate customers
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a sales representative in a similar role (Industry experience is an added advantage)
- Certificate in Sales and Marketing
- Track record of over- achieving sales quota
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service focus
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
