Job Title: Bids & Tendering Officer – IT Solutions

Location: Nairobi

Gross Salary: 50k – 65k plus performance based incentives

Our client is an ICT solutions company.

They seek to hire a highly organized & detail oriented Bids and Tendering Officer.

The role holder will be tasked with preparation of tender documents and following through the entire tendering process.


  • Timely preparation of tender documents, quotations and proposal presentations.
  • Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work.
  • Timely and accurately preparation of tender documents, quotations and proposal presentations.
  • Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points of the organization
  • Researching, writing and/or checking proposals.
  • Working with key members of the project team and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid.
  • Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid.
  • Researching current and future market trends
  • Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted


  • Degree in Business Management or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in an IT company
  • Experience in preparation of tender documents
