DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and provide leadership to a team of Field Sales Executives, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their sales targets.
- Monitor sales activities, provide guidance, and support to the team in achieving their individual and collective sales goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to help improve team effectiveness.
- Generate new leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Assign leads to Field Sales Executives and monitor the follow-up process to ensure timely and effective lead conversion.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including performance metrics, pipeline status, and forecasted sales, for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to the sales team based on data analysis.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Ensure the sales team is effectively executing sales plans and adjusting tactics as needed to achieve targets.
- Attend customer meetings with Field Sales Executives to support sales efforts and close deals.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and address customer needs, ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
- Implement strategies to minimize the length of the sales cycle and improve customer loyalty.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of Field Sales Executives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniques, and share best practices with the team.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in industries such as Solar, Insurance, Microfinance, Sacco, Multilevel Marketing, or any other related field with aggressive sales targets.
