Oshwal Academy Mombasa is a private school owned and managed by Oshwal Education & Relief Board offering the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), Cambridge Assessment International education (IGCSE, A/S and A’ Levels) and Pearson EDEXCEL International.

The Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced Computer Science / ICT Teacher to teach in the Senior School.

Skills and Competencies:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education degree/Bsc. Degree in Computer Science/ICT and a second subject.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.

Experience:

• At least Three years’ teaching experience in international curriculum, with AS / A levels experience preference.
• Demonstrable technical and academic knowledge of Computer Science / ICT.
• Good intra and interpersonal skills.
• Good ethical standards.
• Knowledgeable in modern pedagogy and demonstrable teaching practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Innovative and creative individual.
• Good planning and organisation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability and proven willingness to support clubs and other co-curricular activities.
