South B Hospital is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced Locum Nurse to support service delivery in the Outpatient (OPD)  Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide quality nursing care to patients in the OPD.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during resuscitation procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and current practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
• At least one (1) year of experience in an Outpatient and/or Accident & Emergency setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
