JOB TITLE: SALES EXECUTIVE

INDUSTRY: MEDICAL SUPPLIES

LOCATION: NAIROBI

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and surpassing the sales targets set forth by the sales management.
  • Educate healthcare professionals or decision-makers on company products.
  • Maintaining connections with prospective customers in the medical industry, by reaching out to them and managing your sales funnel accordingly.
  • Create a yearly sales plan that aligns with the goals and strategy of the company.
  • Creating and reviewing monthly sales reports, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Create, train, and oversee sales teams that can complete necessary sales
  • Verify that sales are carried out in accordance with established company and healthcare protocols and guidelines.
  • Create and deliver presentations to physicians, nurses, other practice personnel at hospitals and clinics.
  • Oversee implementation and performance of sales procedures and policies for immediate clients.
  • Manage the utilization of the client's assets while keeping selling costs under control.
  • Create work schedules and timetables, making meetings with clients and putting a call plan strategy into action to establish productive working relationships with partners in the healthcare industry.
  • Creates long-term good connections with clients, increasing their trust and commitment to the business as a preferred supplier.
  • Putting up plans to expand the number of possibilities to connect with people in the medical industry.
  • Stay up to date with the health services' operations in the medical domain.
  • Any additional tasks that the immediate supervisor may assign.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 5 years’ work experience in sales.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or any other life science, and Proven sales and marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of medical equipment and the clientele.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytics and market research skills.
  • Strong negotiation and customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in basic software applications.
  • Wiliness to travel within the country whenever required.
