Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their client in the Security Solutions Industry, is looking for a dynamic
and target-driven Sales Executive. The Sales Executive will be responsible for meeting the
company’s set sales targets and driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities,
developing strong client relationships, and expanding market presence. The role reports to the Sales &
Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
 Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the
industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
 Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and
recommending solutions.
 Cold calling, responding to incoming email and phone enquiries, attending meetings with
potential customers to prospect for new business.
 Represents the company at trade exhibitions, events ,demonstrations and sales activations
 Reviews own sales performance aiming to meet or exceed the set targets
 Prepares quotations and proposals to prospects after gaining a clear understanding of their
requirements.
 Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;
researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service
improvements.
 Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends,
market activities, and competitors.
 Prepares weekly sales activity reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales
information.
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
 Any other duty assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications
 Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
 Proven experience in sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry
 Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
 Good analytical and reporting skills
 Proficiency in MS Office applications
