Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Nairobi,Kenya

Job Overview: Responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure the company's competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Sales Operations: Direct and coordinate all sales activities, including local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns.

  • Team Management: Plan and direct the hiring, training, and development of sales representatives.

  • Sales Strategy: Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong market presence.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics. Set sales quotas and goals, and monitor team performance against these targets.

  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Budget Management: Prepare sales budgets and projections, and approve expenditures.

  • Market Analysis: Identify emerging markets and market shifts, and stay updated on new products and competition status.

  • Conflict Resolution: Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding products or services.

  • Reporting: Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Strong business sense and industry expertise. Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

  • Mentoring: Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
